Rob Taylor founded LCG in early 2002 as a result of his passion to work with energetic, passionate entrepreneurs.  Rob has significant senior management, turnaround and venture investment experience across numerous industries including Internet and Technology, Outsourced Engineering Services, Telecommunications, Automotive, and Public Utilities as well as demonstrated success in Operations, Marketing, Finance and Business Development.

In addition to recently launching several new and growing businesses, Rob has served as a Management Consultant, President, COO and CFO for several early stage private and public companies.  Specifically, Rob is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for a development stage business protecting businesses and retail consumers against upward movement in fuel prices.  Previously, Rob co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for Oceanus Automotive, an outsourced engineering services company that is currently achieving double-digit revenue growth and counts numerous Fortune 100 OEM's as clients.

Previously, Rob served as the President, COO and CFO, at various points in time, for Quepasa Corporation, a publicly traded Internet company (NASDAQ: QPSA).  After joining the organization at an early stage, creating the business plan and turning around its operations, Rob assisted in the completion of an IPO, led the negotiation of over 50 partnerships and 3 acquisitions for the firm in the first 18 months of operations.  Prior to Quepasa, Rob served as a management consultant for CSC Index, focused on delivering large-scale change initiatives, process improvement and operational excellence to Fortune 500 clients.  Rob began his career in Industrial Engineering and plant management for Michelin Tire Corporation focused on multi-plant manufacturing  and operational efficiency improvements. 

Rob holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in organizational behavior and finance from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Master of Engineering Management with a concentration in manufacturing from the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University.  Rob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.

In his spare time, Rob is an avid recreational triathlete and 2-time Ironman finisher and enjoys spending time with his wife Debbie, his dogs Foster and Maddie, and his cat Lucky Loo.
